Recent Wso2 Enterprise Integrator Security Vulnerabilities

WSO2 Management Console Auth Bypass via URI Manipulation
CVE-2025-5605 4.3 - Medium - October 24, 2025

An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the Management Console of multiple WSO2 products. A malicious actor with access to the console can manipulate the request URI to bypass authentication and access certain restricted resources, resulting in partial information disclosure. The known exposure from this issue is limited to memory statistics. While the vulnerability does not allow full account compromise, it still enables unauthorized access to internal system details.

Authentication Bypass by Spoofing

WSO2 Try-It SSRF & XSS in Deprecated Admin Feature
CVE-2025-5350 5.9 - Medium - October 24, 2025

SSRF and Reflected XSS Vulnerabilities exist in multiple WSO2 products within the deprecated Try-It feature, which was accessible only to administrative users. This feature accepted user-supplied URLs without proper validation, leading to server-side request forgery (SSRF). Additionally, the retrieved content was directly reflected in the HTTP response, enabling reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) in the admin user's browser context. By tricking an administrator into accessing a crafted link, an attacker could force the server to fetch malicious content and reflect it into the admins browser, leading to arbitrary JavaScript execution for UI manipulation or data exfiltration. While session cookies are protected with the HttpOnly flag, the XSS still poses a significant security risk. Furthermore, SSRF can be used by a privileged user to query internal services, potentially aiding in internal network enumeration if the target endpoints are reachable from the affected product.

SSRF

WSO2 Internal Admin API Improper Access Control
CVE-2025-9804 9.6 - Critical - October 16, 2025

An improper access control vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to insufficient permission enforcement in certain internal SOAP Admin Services and System REST APIs. A low-privileged user may exploit this flaw to perform unauthorized operations, including accessing server-level information. This vulnerability affects only internal administrative interfaces. APIs exposed through the WSO2 API Manager's API Gateway remain unaffected.

Authorization

WSO2 EI Improper Access Control on Internal SOAP Admin Services
CVE-2025-9955 5.7 - Medium - October 16, 2025

An improper access control vulnerability exists in WSO2 Enterprise Integrator product due to insufficient permission restrictions on internal SOAP admin services related to system logs and user-store configuration. A low-privileged user can access log data and user-store configuration details that are not intended to be exposed at that privilege level. While no credentials or sensitive user information are exposed, this vulnerability may allow unauthorized visibility into internal operational details, which could aid in further exploitation or reconnaissance.

AuthZ

WSO2 BPS File Upload RCE via BPEL Uploader SOAP
CVE-2025-1862 6.7 - Medium - September 26, 2025

An arbitrary file upload vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to improper validation of user-supplied filenames in the BPEL uploader SOAP service endpoint. A malicious actor with administrative privileges can upload arbitrary files to a user-controlled location on the server. By leveraging this vulnerability, an attacker can upload a specially crafted payload and achieve remote code execution (RCE), potentially compromising the server and its data.

Unrestricted File Upload

WSO2 Identity Server XSS via JDBC User Store Error Output
CVE-2024-8008 5.2 - Medium - June 02, 2025

A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to insufficient output encoding in error messages generated by the JDBC user store connection validation request. A malicious actor can inject a specially crafted payload into the request, causing the browser to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the vulnerable page. This vulnerability may allow UI manipulation, redirection to malicious websites, or data exfiltration from the browser. However, since all session-related sensitive cookies are protected with the httpOnly flag, session hijacking is not possible.

XSS

XXE in WSO2 API Manager Gateway: Unauth Remote File Read & DoS
CVE-2025-2905 9.1 - Critical - May 05, 2025

Due to the improper configuration of XML parser, user-supplied XML is parsed without applying sufficient restrictions, enabling XML External Entity (XXE) resolution in multiple WSO2 Products. A successful XXE attack could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to: * Read sensitive files from the servers filesystem. * Perform denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, which can render the affected service unavailable.

XXE

WSO2 EI 6.6 CSRF in Management Console
CVE-2024-0392 - February 27, 2025

A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the management console of WSO2 Enterprise Integrator 6.6.0 due to the absence of CSRF token validation. This flaw allows attackers to craft malicious requests that can trigger state-changing operations on behalf of an authenticated user, potentially compromising account settings and data integrity. The vulnerability only affects a limited set of state-changing operations, and successful exploitation requires social engineering to trick a user with access to the management console into performing the malicious action.

WSO2 Management Console XSS via Registry Input Improper Encoding
CVE-2023-6911 4.8 - Medium - December 18, 2023

Multiple WSO2 products have been identified as vulnerable due to improper output encoding, a Stored Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attack can be carried out by an attacker injecting a malicious payload into the Registry feature of the Management Console.

XSS
