| CVE-2026-85658 | Sep 19, 2026 |
Arbitrary Shortcode Exec in ProfilePress Plugin v4.17.2The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.2 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. |
|
| CVE-2026-66047 | Aug 31, 2026 |
Unauth Remote Code Exec in ProfilePress <4.17.2 via ppress_connect_processProfilePress (wp-user-avatar) WordPress plugin before 4.17.2 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to install and activate arbitrary plugins by brute-forcing a weak 32-bit connect token via the ppress_connect_process AJAX handler. Attackers can supply a caller-controlled URL through the file request parameter to trigger silent plugin installation and activation, achieving PHP code execution as the web-server user. |
|
| CVE-2026-3424 | Aug 22, 2026 |
WordPress kk Star Ratings Plugin <5.4.10.3 - Unauth Arbitrary Shortcode ExecutionThe The kk Star Ratings Rate Post & Collect User Feedbacks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 5.4.10.3. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate the 'payload' value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. |
|
| CVE-2026-18385 | Aug 16, 2026 |
ProfilePress upto 4.16.19: Arbitrary Shortcode Exec via do_shortcodeThe The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.19. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The partial mitigation introduced via strip_shortcodes() on [profile-first-name] and [profile-last-name] can be bypassed through the [profile-display-name format="first_last_names"] render path, the [profile-bio] render path (which re-fetches the raw description meta), and the double-bracket escape sequence [[tag]], all of which allow attacker-controlled shortcode text to reach the outer do_shortcode() call. |

| CVE-2026-13352 | Jul 17, 2026 |
ProfilePress WP Plugin <4.16.18 Arbitrary File Upload via allowed_mime_typesThe Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.18 via the allowed_mime_types function. This is due to the unconditional registration of an upload_mimes filter that adds executable file extensions (.exe, .apk, .msi) to the global WordPress MIME allowlist, without scoping the expansion to digital-product upload contexts. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This filter is registered globally on every request regardless of whether the digital products feature is configured or in use, meaning the expanded MIME allowlist affects all WordPress upload contexts site-wide. |

ProfilePress 4.16.12: Authenticated Subscribers Can Switch to Inactive PlansThe Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.12. This is due to the 'process_checkout' function not properly enforcing the plan active status check when a 'change_plan_sub_id' parameter is provided. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to subscribe to inactive membership plans by supplying an arbitrary 'change_plan_sub_id' value in the checkout request. |
|
| CVE-2026-3309 | Apr 04, 2026 |
ProfilePress <=4.16.11 Arbitrary Shortcode Exec via Billing FieldsThe Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.11. This is due to the plugin allowing user-supplied billing field values from the checkout process to be interpolated into shortcode template strings that are subsequently processed without proper sanitization of shortcode syntax. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes by submitting crafted billing field values during the checkout process. |
|
| CVE-2026-3445 | Apr 04, 2026 |
ProfilePress <=4.16.11: Auth Payment Bypass via change_plan_sub_idThe Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized membership payment bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.11. This is due to a missing ownership verification on the `change_plan_sub_id` parameter in the `process_checkout()` function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber level access and above, to reference another user's active subscription during checkout to manipulate proration calculations, allowing them to obtain paid lifetime membership plans without payment via the `ppress_process_checkout` AJAX action. |
|
| CVE-2026-3453 | Mar 11, 2026 |
WordPress ProfilePress 4.16.11 IDOR via change_plan_sub_idThe ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.11. This is due to missing ownership validation on the change_plan_sub_id parameter in the process_checkout() function. The ppress_process_checkout AJAX handler accepts a user-controlled subscription ID intended for plan upgrades, loads the subscription record, and cancels/expires it without verifying the subscription belongs to the requesting user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to cancel and expire any other user's active subscription via the change_plan_sub_id parameter during checkout, causing immediate loss of paid access for victims. |
|
