CVE-2020-3498 6.5 - Medium - September 04, 2020

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information. The vulnerability is due to improper validation of message contents. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted messages to a targeted system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the application to return sensitive authentication information to another system, possibly for use in further attacks.

Improper Input Validation

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber for Windows could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code

CVE-2020-3495 8.8 - High - September 04, 2020

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber for Windows could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is due to improper validation of message contents. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) messages to the affected software. Improper Input Validation

A vulnerability in the SSL implementation of the Cisco Intelligent Proximity solution could

CVE-2020-3155 7.4 - High - March 04, 2020

A vulnerability in the SSL implementation of the Cisco Intelligent Proximity solution could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to view or alter information shared on Cisco Webex video devices and Cisco collaboration endpoints if the products meet the conditions described in the Vulnerable Products section. The vulnerability is due to a lack of validation of the SSL server certificate received when establishing a connection to a Cisco Webex video device or a Cisco collaboration endpoint. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using man in the middle (MITM) techniques to intercept the traffic between the affected client and an endpoint, and then using a forged certificate to impersonate the endpoint. Depending on the configuration of the endpoint, an exploit could allow the attacker to view presentation content shared on it, modify any content being presented by the victim, or have access to call controls. This vulnerability does not affect cloud registered collaboration endpoints.

Improper Certificate Validation

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) for Mac Software, installed as part of the Cisco Jabber for Mac client, could

CVE-2019-12645 7.8 - High - September 05, 2019

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) for Mac Software, installed as part of the Cisco Jabber for Mac client, could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected device The vulnerability is due to improper file level permissions on an affected device when it is running Cisco JCF for Mac Software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the affected device and executing arbitrary code or potentially modifying certain configuration files. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or modify certain configuration files on the device using the privileges of the installed Cisco JCF for Mac Software.

Improper Input Validation

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) could

CVE-2018-0483 5.4 - Medium - January 10, 2019

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of an affected system. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input of an affected client. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by executing arbitrary JavaScript in the Jabber client of the recipient. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the targeted client or allow the attacker to access sensitive client-based information.

XSS

A vulnerability in the Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) software, installed as part of the Cisco Jabber for Mac client, could allow an authenticated, local attacker to corrupt arbitrary files on an affected device

CVE-2018-0449 4.2 - Medium - January 10, 2019

A vulnerability in the Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) software, installed as part of the Cisco Jabber for Mac client, could allow an authenticated, local attacker to corrupt arbitrary files on an affected device that has elevated privileges. The vulnerability exists due to insecure directory permissions set on a JCF created directory. An authenticated attacker with the ability to access an affected directory could create a hard link to an arbitrary location on the affected system. An attacker could convince another user that has administrative privileges to perform an install or update the Cisco Jabber for Mac client to perform such actions, allowing files to be created in an arbitrary location on the disk or an arbitrary file to be corrupted when it is appended to or overwritten.

An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by executing arbitrary JavaScript in the Jabber client of the recipient. An exploit could allow the attacker to perform remote code execution. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCve53989.

XSS

A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) could

CVE-2018-0201 5.4 - Medium - February 22, 2018
