CVE-2024-9802 Published on October 10, 2024

Conformance validation endpoint discloses detail about service to unauthenticated users
The conformance validation endpoint is public so everybody can verify the conformance of onboarded services. The response could contain specific information about the service, including available endpoints, and swagger. It could advise about the running version of a service to an attacker. The attacker could also check if a service is running.

Weakness Type

Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information

The application stores sensitive information in cleartext within a resource that might be accessible to another control sphere. Because the information is stored in cleartext, attackers could potentially read it. Even if the information is encoded in a way that is not human-readable, certain techniques could determine which encoding is being used, then decode the information.
