Deserialization of Untrusted Data in the anti CSRF module in Sitecore through 9.1 allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending a serialized .NET object in an HTTP POST parameter.

The following remediation steps are recommended / required by April 16, 2025: Apply mitigations per vendor instructions, follow applicable BOD 22-01 guidance for cloud services, or discontinue use of the product if mitigations are unavailable.
